Andre Dippenaar

André Dippenaar

André started his martial arts training in 1994 at the age sixteen. He trained in traditional ITF Taekwondo for twelve years up to 2005 and holds a second degree black belt in the style. He has also trained in Judo and boxing on an infrequent basis (unranked).

An incident in 2003 brought about a fascination for the Pressure Point Arts. He started his Kyusho Jitsu training with Kyusho International under Master Evan Pantazi in 2004 during which time he founded the Kyusho Jitsu South Africa organisation.  He hosted the first ever Kyusho Jitsu Seminar in Africa with Master Evan Pantazi in May 2005, with subsequent seminars with Master Evan Pantazi and Grandmaster Jim Corn in 2006 and 2007, respectively.  During this time he taught seminars frequently all over South Africa and Africa (including Namibia and Tanzania) running various study groups all over the country. He was certified up to Level 8 under Kyusho International.

Due to personal reasons he decided in early 2009 to affiliate with his long time friend Karsten Dam with the Kyusho Aiki Jutsu International organisation under the guidance of Master Toni Kauhanen. He is currently a 1st Dan Kyusho Aiki Jutsu Instructor under Grandmaster Toni Kauhanen

He continues to teach Kyusho Aiki Jutsu classes and seminars on a regular basis (refer to upcoming seminars and training sessions page) across Southern Africa. He has numerous Kyusho Aiki Jutsu Study Groups in all major cities across South Africa and Namibia. He continues his studies in the Russian Martial Arts, Yoga, Zen and Qi Gong.
